Feb 18 Event:

CES was awash with 3D announcements from consumer electronics companies, networks and studios. But how realistic are projections for the expansion of 3D into mainstream films and the home? Is Avatar's
success a flash in the pan, or a harbinger of the future of filmmaking? A panel of top studio and technology executives separates hype from reality in our first iHollywood Forum evening event of the year.

Plus, network with other top entertainment and digital media executives before the main event in Trailer Park’s remodeled facilities with views of Hollywood beneath you.

TDVision

TDVision will display its proprietary 3D television technology at the evening event. TDVision is the owner of several 3D related patents and proprietary system architectures now part of ISO MPEG standards that will help propel the True 3D media breakthrough in full HD per eye. Their technology allows true 3D content to be acquired directly using their TDVCam or any other stereoscopic camera. The content is then encoded and deployed over existing digital pipelines using their TDVCodec, without any loss or detriment on the image, handling full HD per eye and fully compatible with legacy decoders.
